One of the more common uses we see our pontoons heading off around the country for, is inspection and repair of bridges crossing the UK’s waterways.
Whether its a small 4 metre x 4 metre raft with a scaffold tower built on it or a larger installation spanning a whole river our pontoon system offers the perfect solution for any workforce needing such access.
We’ve recently had two examples of the difference in scale to which we can cater.
For the past 3 months we’ve had in excess of 300 square metres at 2 locations near Newbury allowing access to a railway bridge some 70 metres from the nearest towpath, meaning the only access was via a walkway installed by our expert installation team.
On the other side of things we’ve also recently had one of our guys up in Merseyside for a week providing a small pontoon with outboard motor attached. Allowing a team of structural engineers access to assess and inspect a series of bridges crossing the Leeds – Liverpool Canal.
Take a look at our website here for more information on our system and what we can do for you.
