Festival Festivities

In August, over 5,000 employees and invited guests of We Work descended upon Eridge Park on the Kent/Sussex border for a 3 day music festival, headliners included Florence & The Machine and Two Door Cinema Club. In addition to the incredible music line up there were a wide range of talks, wellness and fitness classes, networking workshops, music, team sports and games as well as countless creative workshops on offer.  And last but not least there was a provision for lake boating and wild swimming, this is where we came into things!

Timber Clad Pontoons

We were approached by the organisers to provide launch platforms for the water sports activities, as well as a large swim platform and a bridge crossing the lake allowing access to other areas of the festival. The aesthetics of event an event such as this are hugely important and as a result we were asked to deck the pontoons with timber to make them look like permanent structures.Timber cladding on pontoon

Thankfully the British weather was kind to the festival  and the swim platform and the boats saw plenty of use over the weekend!
