Secure for people and equipment
Boasting safe working loads of 175kg per square metre the pontoons can comfortably house, large numbers of crew and all required equipment. Edge protection can be installed on all exposed edges and quickly dropped should unobstructed views be required for filming purposes.
Set pontoons
We supply floating pontoons configured as required to create any form of platform not only for camera work but for use as a set. We have cloaked pontoons in green screen, built wooden boats, housed timber walkways as well as using more conventional coverings required by set designers such as decking and grass.
Waterside access
Pontoons may also be used to create moorings and jetties in locations such as rivers and lakes where filming needs to take place, but the necessary facilities aren’t currently present. Our expert team will work with you to construct a pontoon that meets whatever needs you have; just give us a call and chat through your requirements.
Past Credits
We have an extensive list of credits when it comes to working in the film industry from British institutions such as Miss Marple, Midsummer Murders and even James Bond. To world renowned Netflix and Amazon Prime series’, such as Outlander where our pontoons were used as the base upon which to build an 18th Century American river boat which featured heavily in the 4th series of the hit show.
