- About Us
Our pontoons are made up of individual blocks measuring just 0.5 x 0.5 metres in size, making them incredibly flexible when it comes to supplying a platform that suits your requirements. We can even double stack the modules if required to provide additional height above the water or to increase buoyancy.
The pontoons offer the perfect platform upon which to house scaffold towers when inspecting bridges. The surface of the pontoon provides a flat firm surface upon which the legs of scaffold towers can be mounted. We are also able to install tie down points on the deck of the pontoon to physically secure the platform down to the pontoon itself.
The anchored pontoon is substantial enough for there to be almost zero movement while working at height over flat water. On moving waterways, our experts will advise whether this solution is viable following a site visit to your project.
Depending on your access and the design of your required pontoon we are able to deliver ready-made slabs on our flat-bed vehicles, assembling on site by craning into location – our aim is to deliver and install the pontoon quickly and efficiently without compromising any safety or utility.
If the launch location and the bridge to be inspected are a distance apart, the pontoon can be fitted with a custom made outboard bracket and one of our Suzuki outboard motors. The pontoon can then be moved into position, saving time and money that would be spent having to achieve access at the bridge location.
Our expert team will be able to advise you on the size of pontoon that will best suit your requirements, we just need to know what you’re hoping to achieve, the equipment you’re using and how many people need accommodating.
